SHIRLEY JONES Obituary
Shirley J. Jones, 82, of Rice Twp., died at the Hampton House in Wilkes-Barre, Thursday, December 5, 2019.
Born in Red Oak, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Alvin and Rose Bullard and was a graduate of Midwest City High School in Oklahoma. She was an employee of the Bon Ton Store; an active PTA member and former school board member; President of the Northern CA Heart Drive Chapter; Sunday school teacher at Penecostal Church; active in March of Dimes and was a Campaign Manager for Ronald Reagan. She loved to read and plant.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas.
She is survived by her son Jeff and his wife, Shelly and four grandchildren: James and Teresa Carey; Nicole and Joseph Devin. She also has six great-grandchildren.
Private service will be held by the family.
