Sandra Lee Henning, 75, a lifelong resident of White Haven, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the Mountain Top Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Mountain Top.
Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of Howard and Georgia Sterner McCluskey. She was a graduate of Weatherly High School and worked as a beautician and child caregiver. She was well known for helping others and working at the community lunch at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in White Haven, where she was a devoted lifelong member. At home she could always be found in the kitchen, cooking or baking for her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard H. Henning in 2016.
She is survived by children: Wendy Howton (Matthew) of Mountain Top; Richard T. Henning (Kathy) of Washburn, Missouri; William Henning (Jennifer) of Danville and Sarah Berkey of Aston; her brother, Howard McCluskey (Freddie). She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren: Alexandra(Adam), Brian, Zachary, Elizabeth, Elijah, Xavier and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements by Lehman Family Funeral Service, White Haven.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 1:00 pm in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 414 Berwick Street, White Haven with Pastor Michelle Kaufman officiating.
Family requests memorial donations be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in White Haven in lieu of flowers.
