Rose (Rosie) Wallace of Severna Park, MD, originally of the Newtown section of Hanover Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 14, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Born January 21, 1933 to John and Philomena (DeMuro) Mazza, Rose lived her entire life in Hanover Township until relocating to Maryland several years ago to be closer to her children.

She loved to cook, clean and garden, taking great pride in her home and yard. She was an active member of St Leo the Great parish and a member of its choir. She was a wonderful friend and neighbor to all.
In addition to her parents and husband, Rosie was proceeded in death by her brother John Mazza, sisters Anna Galanti and her husband Joe, Marie McDermott and her husband Ed.
She is survived by her three children, John Wallace and wife Karen, Williamsburg, VA; Robert Wallace and his wife Kathy, Arnold, MD, daughter, Judith Peggs and husband Jeffrey, Richmond, VA. Brother, Dr. Joseph Mazza and wife Ginny of Marshfield Wisconsin. Grandchildren, Melissa Wallace, Mary Wallace, Michael Wallace, Kevin Peggs, Brian Peggs and Lauren Jost and her Great Granddaughter, Madison Davis as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
