Ronald Missal, formally of Hanover Township and Larksville, passed away June 19, 2026. He was born in Wilkes-Barre Township, son of Edward and Wanda Sadowski Missal.
He graduated from Wilkes-Barre Township high school in 1957. He graduated from AIB in Chicago in 1969 and was employed at Interstate Bakeries as the production superintendent until 1972. He was also employed by the Wilkes-Barre post office for 30 years.
He was a member of Saint Aloysius Church and Holy Name Society and was past president in past secretary of the organization. He was very active in his church serving as an usher and helping with the church bazaar. He was one of the founders of the Lee Park Little League where he umpired, managed was a board member.
He was also a member of the Sons of Legion in Larksville and served as a chaplain.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife Elizabeth Betty Butler Missal after 59 years of marriage.
He will be sadly missed by his family including four sons, Ron, Edward and his wife Julie, John and his wife Ami, and Gary and his wife Maureen. He was greatly loved by his eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, who always enjoyed their PopPop.
He will be lovingly remembered by his brother Gerry Missal and his wife Sylvia in Boston and two nieces Rebecca and Debbie.
