Ronell Anderson, 36, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. Born on February 22, 1989, in Brooklyn, Ronell was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend.
A passionate and talented chef, Ronell brought people together through his love of food. He was known for his creative spirit—not only in the kitchen, but also through his writing. Ronell expressed himself through poetry and rap music and had a deep love for art in many forms.
He cherished time spent with his family and friends, whether it was on the basketball court, gaming, or simply enjoying each other's company. His warm energy, quick wit, and generous heart left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Ronell is survived by his four beloved children: Malaysia, Olivia, Mattaeo, and Damon Anderson. He is also survived by his parents, Dennis Artis and Brenda Anderson; siblings Tamika Deadwiley, Demond Anderson, Dennis Anderson, and Jaleel Anderson; nephews Mark, Cameron, and Christopher and significant other, Michele Aurisano. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by many extended family members and friends.
A celebration of Ronell’s life will be held Sunday, May 25, 2025 at 4:00 pm from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre. Viewing will be from 2:00 pm until time of service.
