Roberta M. Argenziano, of Mountain Top, died on Thursday, November 9, 2023 in Sacred Heart Hospice, Dunmore.
Born in Waterbury, CT, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Anonick Babiy and was a graduate of Springfield General Hospital for Nursing. Roberta was employed as a nurse and later owned and operated a ceramic shop where she held classes and enjoyed teaching for 25 years.
Roberta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her favorite pastimes were sewing, crocheting, reading and putting puzzles together.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John and infant son, Russell Dean.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Todd John Argenziano and his wife, Lisa of Mountain Top; James A. Argenziano and his wife, Leah of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Miranda, Erika, Madeline, Kevin, Kyle and Christopher. She is also survived by siblings, Sonya Riche and her husband, Richard ** Richard is no longer with us...of Moneta, VA, Joan Kovacs and companion, Allan of Edison, NJ, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Hospice of the Sacred Heart and Visiting Angels for their care and support.
Officiating over the memorial services will be her niece, Reverend Beverly Mueffelmann who she loved dearly.
Private Funeral service will be held from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. Wilkes-Barre, with entombment in Maple Hill Cemetery.
