ROBERT G. ROBINSON JR.

Robert G. Robinson, Jr., of Kingston, died, Monday, December 17, 2018, in Celtic Hospice In Patient Unit, Wilkes-Barre.
 

Born in Red Rock, PA, he was the son of the late Robert G. Robinson Sr. and Minerva Brown.  Robert served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1947. He was a self employed truck driver and later owned and operated Towne Auto Body and Town Auto Sales.
 

Robert was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his wife, Joan; son, Robert Robinson III and grandson, Donald Robinson.
 

He is survived by his children, Violet Reese (Jack) Pensacola, FL; Donald Robinson, Kingston; Bonnie Staples, Pensacola, FL; Thomas Robinson (Diane) Pittston; Edward Robinson, Wilkes-Barre; Judy Schaler, Wilkes-Barre; Marlene Lavanda, Dallas; Donna Zekas (Peter) Auburn; grandchildren, Tina, Gina, Bonnie Lynn, Kristy, Kelly, Robbie, Diana, Scott, Judyann, James, Breana, Michelle, Mark, Amanda, Peter, and Nicole, as well as, many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and sister, Sally Robinson, Newfield, NJ.
 

Memorial service will be conducted on Friday, December 21, 2018, at 10:00 am from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre, with interment in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township.  Visitation will be from 9:00 am until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
