ROBERT M. RICE

Robert “Robby” M. Rice, Jr. 49, of Newtown section of Hanover Township, died Sunday, December 6, 2020 at home.

Born in Cape May Courthouse, NJ, he was the son of Robert L, (Cathy) Rice of Avoca and Ruth Herron (Gary) Wodder of Ponce Inlet, FL and was a graduate of GAR High School and Johnson College of Technology. Robby was a landscaper and an avid Eagles Fan. He loved riding his Harley and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents and step parents, he is survived by his wife, Renee Sarnak Rice; children, Kyleigh Rice of Oklahoma; Jeremy Rice of Pittston; stepchildren, William (Elizabeth) Atkinson of Lebanon; Amanda (Keith) Atkinson of Glen Lyon; two grandchildren, Daniel Atkinson, Jake Keller; siblings, Rachel (Matt) Zeiler of Lake Ariel; Sarah (Eric) Kohan of Harleysville, niece Paige, nephew Jack and many friends.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 2:00 pm from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre with burial in Hanover Green Cemetery, Hanover Township.

Friends are invited to join the family from 1:00 pm until time of service for a visitation. Those attending are required to wear masks and respect social distancing guidelines.
