ROBERT DALE

Robert M. Dale, 65, of Sweet Valley, died on Saturday, February 13, 2021, in Birchwood Nursing and Rehabilitation, Nanticoke.

Born in King County Brooklyn NY, he was the son of the late “Buddy” Robert Dale and Marilyn Brodsky Dale of Sweet Valley and was educated in New York. Robert loved spending time with family. He also loved the beach. He worked in New York City, a job he truly loved, as a commercial crane operator for International Union of Operating Engineers Local 15 and he collected model trucks and machines. He enjoyed road trips with his wife, on their Harley, to all kinds of adventures. Bob was often found outside working in his garden and landscaping the grounds.

In addition to his father, he was preceded by his son, Nathan Dale in 2016 and first wife, the former Phyllis Sorber.

In addition to his mother, Robert is survived by his loving wife, Carol Kokinda Dale; son, Bobby P Dale; daughters, Heather David of Ashley and Nicole Lipkin of Melbourne, Australia; six grandchildren.

Blessing service was conducted on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre, with Reverend Vincent Dang officiating. Interment followed in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
