RICHARD W. DIXON III

Richard W. Dixon III, of Hewitt, NJ, died Tuesday, November 5, 2019, in White Haven, PA.

Born in Park Ridge, NJ, he was the son of the late Richard W. and Maida Grace Meyer Dixon II and was a graduate of Park Ridge High School and Montclair University, where he earned his Bachelors of Science Degree. Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping with his family and traveling in his motor home. Prior to retirement, Richard was a teacher at the Sussex County Technical School in Sparta, NJ where he taught welding.

He is survived by his loving family, including his wife, Janet; daughters, Donna Ann Hill and her husband, Doug of Lincoln Park, NJ; Ellen Dixon Hamler and her husband, Edwin, of Hamburg, four grandchildren, Alan Hill, Cheyenne Hamler; Bethany Hill, Richard Hamler; one great grandson Liam Hill; step grandchildren, Douglas Hill Jr. Courtney Hill; step great grandchildren, Gavin, Cami, Sara, Hanna, Julia, Jordan and Logan; sister, Maida Handschuh; numerous nieces and nephews.

Private visitation and arrangements were held at the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 403 Berwick St. White Haven.
