Patti Lu Murray, of White Haven, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Allied Hospice on Meade Street in Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Abington, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Caroline Hoffman and was a graduate of Abington High School. Patti had a creative spirit and greatly enjoyed crafting, especially cross stitching, wool rug hooking, and scrapbooking. She also found joy in baking and cooking, and treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren. An occasional trip to the casino was another pastime she enjoyed.
Patti was a member of the White Haven United Methodist Church and was formerly a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Glenside.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Kenneth.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Stephen Murray; children, Kristen (Seamus) Donnelly of Lancaster, Stephanie (Lou) Ressler of LaGrange Park, IL, Stephen (Krista) Murray, Jr. of Sugarloaf; grandchildren, Finnian, Isla, Emily, Samuel, Maxwell, Kensington; siblings, Harry Hoffman, Suzanne Johnson, and beloved nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
