PATRICIA ANN PIERSON

Patricia Ann Pierson, 84, of Wilkes-Barre, died on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Allied Services, Meade Street Wilkes-Barre with family by her side.

Born in Montclair, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Ann Hendry Shannon. Following graduating from Clifford J. Scott High School in East Orange, NJ., she worked at United Rehabilitation Center in Wilkes-Barre. Patricia was involved with the Luzerne County Blind Association and it's Book Club. She enjoyed teaching sewing, spending time with her grandson, Michael, and listening music, especially to St. Robert Bellarmine choir sing and Scottish and Irish music.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Pierson; and 2 sisters: Margaret Noble and Rosaleen Shannon.

Pat is survived by son George Evans Pierson, III of Wilkes-Barre; daughter, Mary Ann LaBarre and her husband, Andy of Kingston; her grandson, Michael LaBarre; nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at 9:30 am from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Division Street, Hanover Township. Reverend Richard Cirba will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.

Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation on Friday, April 23 from 4 to 6 pm and Saturday morning, from 9:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
