Nadja R. Martino

Nadja Alexandria (Rogachenko) Martino, of White Haven, passed away peacefully at home, with family by her side on Monday, February 11, 2019.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Katherine Stojko Rogachenko and was a graduate of Gratz High School, Philadelphia PA. Nadja was the Matriarch of the family, enjoyed needlepoint, entertaining family and friends, and travel.  Nadja and her husband, Frank, retired and moved from their home in Hatfield and after adding on their summer home, relocated to White Haven Poconos.  They continued to live a well-deserved life of leisure and travel during retirement and spending time with their family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters; Olga, George, Walter, Elizabeth, Vera, John, Margaret, and Nicholas.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Frank Martino; sons, Frank (Lynne) Martino of Hatfield, PA; Gregory (Kathleen) Martino of Hummelstown, PA; Michael (Shane Burley) Martino of Brentwood, TN; six grandchildren, Lauren, Anthony, Matthew, Kathleen, Alexander, and Nicholas; five great grandchildren, Emily, Adelyn, Kathleen, Abigail, Juliana and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 11:00 am in St. Maria Goretti, Church, Hatfield, PA 19440 with a visitation from 9:30 am until time of service.
