Monica C. Snitzer of Albrightsville passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026, at the age of 71.
Born on April 23, 1954, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Murphy) Lindsey. Monica was a graduate of Little Flower High School and went on to attend Penn State University.
Monica will be remembered for her warm, generous spirit and her love of life’s simple pleasures. She had a deep appreciation for flowers and butterflies, and found great joy in gardening, crafting, sewing, and quilting. A devoted animal lover, she cared for many rescue dogs over the years, and also supported the SPCA.
Her home was always open to others, and she was known for her kindness, hospitality, and willingness to help anyone in need. She cherished time with family and friends, especially during the holidays with Christmas being her favorite. Each winter, Monica brought sunshine to the cold season by hosting her beloved “Jimmy Buffett” party, where Hawaiian shirts and feel-good music lifted everyone’s spirits.
Monica was also a member of a quilting club, where she formed lasting friendships while sharing her passion through group gatherings and retreats.
She is survived by her loving husband, Barry Snitzer; her daughter, Lindsey Neduchin and her husband Eric Neduchin of Abington; her son, William Snitzer of Nesquehoning; and her cherished grandson, Liam Neduchin. She is also survived by her sisters, Karen Hettle and Juliet Lindsey-Heuser.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Lindsey.
A celebration of Monica’s life will be held on Sunday, April 12, at 1:30 p.m. at Nick’s Lake House, Lake Harmony.
Monica’s kindness, creativity, and caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Family Funeral Service, White Haven.
