MaryAnn Marrone, 89, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021, in Allied Services, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Rocco Redondo and Rose Pardo. MaryAnn loved her family dearly, and enjoyed nothing more than caring for her home and family. No one who graced MaryAnn’s home and kitchen table ever left feeling anything but loved, happy and well fed. She was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish (St. Aloysius Church). MaryAnn’s greatest pastime was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a devoted and passionate supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her loving husband, Frank Marrone, who passed away six months ago.
She is survived by her daughters: Lisa Schutz and her husband, William of Wilkes-Barre; Madeline Moore and her husband, Stephen of Mechanicsburg; her grandchildren, whom she adored, Hayden Schutz; Kristine Colaneri (husband Michael) and Hannah Moore.
Funeral and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, March 16th at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Wilkes-Barre. Visitation for family and friends will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed immediately by Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in MaryAnn’s memory should be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
