Obituary
Mary Alice Sedorchuk, 72, of Newport Township, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023 with family by her side.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late James and Joyce Williams Lane and step daughter to the late Dorothy Holden. Mary Alice worked for the Woodlands Inn and Resort as a housekeeper and enjoyed spending time with family; playing Bingo and watching game shows on TV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Henry "Hank" Sedorchuk Jr. and beloved son, Henry Sedorchuk III.
Left to cherish her memory is her son James Sedorchuk and his wife, Tina of Nanticoke, grandchildren Jessica, Noah, Henry IV, Mikayla, Matthew and Mariah; brother Pastor James Lane and his wife, Helene of Forty Fort; sisters Betty Ball and her husband, Danny of Pittston, Joyce Jarski and her husband, Charles of Wilkes-Barre; daughter in law Annie Sedorchuk of Nanticoke; sister in law Judith Rinker of Wilkes-Barre; nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 10:00 am at Restored Church, 74 South Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre. Interment will follow in Hanover Green Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 5 to 7 pm at the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre.
