MARY T. ROBERTS

Mary T. "Penny" Roberts, of Nanticoke, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025 in Allied Hospice Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre, with family by her side.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Blandford and was a graduate of Meyers High School, Class of 1960.  Penny was employed as a nurse at the VA Medical Center, prior to retirement and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles Fan.  She loved traveling, especially to Florida; spending time with family and was a longtime member of Primitive Methodist Church, Bear Creek.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son Russell Roberts.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, John Roberts; daughter, Dr. Joyce Roberts and her husband David Pegg of Tampa, FL; son, John Roberts and his wife Gina of Newport Township; four grandchildren, Rees and Gianna Roberts, Terence and Paul Vrabec.

Private Family funeral service was held Oak Lawn Cemetery Chapel, Hanover Township.

Arrangements under the direction of the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. Wilkes-Barre.
