Linda L. Ritts

Linda Lee Ritts, of Hanover Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born to the late Joseph and Betty Baran, Linda dedicated her working years to caring for others as a caretaker with several home healthcare agencies. Her compassionate nature extended not only to those she cared for professionally, but also to her family, friends and fur babies.

Linda cherished spending time with her loved ones, especially during the holidays and at family gatherings. She found great joy in cooking, baking and endless conversations with homemade meals at the dining table with the ones she loved. Above all, Linda will be remembered for the love, warmth, kindness, and care she gave to the people and animals who were fortunate enough to be part of her life.

Linda is survived by her husband, James Ritts of Hanover Township; daughter, Lisa Ritts and her husband Joseph of Hanover Township; son, James Ritts and his husband Kristopher of West Wyoming; brother, Joseph Baran and his wife Anita of Pringle; numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved fur babies.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. from Lehman Family Funeral Service, 689 Hazle Avenue, Wilkes-Barre. Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Linda will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
