LOIS I. CAVANAUGH

Lois I. Cavanaugh, a lifelong resident of Bear Creek Township, died on Friday, June 9, 2023, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late William and Freda Boston Benscoter and was a graduate of Coughlin High School.  Lois worked for Eberhard Faber as a secretary, prior to retirement and was a member of the Laurel Run P.M. Church and the former Ladies Aid Society.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Merle Nalepka.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, David Cavanaugh; daughter, Kathryn Jasulevicz and her husband, Edward of Bear Creek Township; grandchildren, Edward and Dylan Jasulevicz; nieces and nephews.

Private family graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Bear Creek Township.
