LINDA BURKE

Linda J. Burke, of White Haven, died Tuesday, June 19, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Minnie Williams Gower and was a graduate of Crestwood High School. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, and was an information specialist for Pocono Mountains Vacation Bureau. Linda loved animals, dogs, horses and horse racing.

In addition to per parents, Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard T. Burke in 1993 and son, John Burke in 1971.

She is survived by her children, Thomas Burke and his wife, Lisa, Freeland; Richard Burke, White Haven and Heather Davies, Mountain Top; two grandchildren, Nicholas Burke and Abigail Davies.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 23, 2018 from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 403 Berwick St. White Haven, with Reverend Michelle Kaufman officiating. Interment will follow in Laurel Cemetery, White Haven.

Friends may call on Friday, June 22, 2018, from 5 to 8 pm and Saturday morning from 9:30 am until time of service.
