Leslie D Perkins

Leslie David Perkins Jr. Caldwell NJ died on February 11, 2024 at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair NJ. dying  from cardiac arrest after a short illness.  Born in Bridgeport Connecticut January 1,1974, just turned 50 years old,  Before moving to NJ he was previously from Truesdale Terrace, Hanover Township PA.  He was the son of Leslie D. Perkins and Bernadine (Milbrodt) Perkins

He is survived by four children:  Joshua, and Olivia. And Jessica, Elliot (first marriage),. Sadly missed by sisters Eunice Glushefski, Bernice Kus and Nancy Perkins.  Predeceased by two other sisters Sandra and Tina Perkins.

Les attended Hanover Area High School and LCCC to be an electrician .  He was a self taught engineer working at Star Candle.  Before this,he worked many years for the local electrical union traveling from Pa to NJ or NYC. 

He enjoyed sightseeing and traveling on a whim. He loved camping with his sisters and brother-in-laws. Riding his harley. Les also was a very talented cook.   But most of all he really loved spending time with his children Joshua and Olivia.

A memorial service will be held on March 23 at  5:30pm at The Shrine of Saint Joseph Church, Gillette,  NJ 07980
