Kevin J. Egan, 82, of White Haven, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024 in the VA Medical Center.
Born in the Bronx, New York, June 27, 1942, he was the son of the late Patrick and Kathleen Gibbons Egan and served his country proudly in the United States Army. He was a detective with the New York City Police Department, retiring after 20 years. He then went on to work as Chief Engineer at the Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY. He enjoyed playing the lottery and watching football and baseball games. He loved to read; spend time with family and friends and was a member of St. Patrick's Church, White Haven.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Hand, Una Longergan, Bernadette Kennedy, Sister Eileen Egan, Brenda Egan and brother Desmond Egan.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 57 years, Nancy Ann Stemple Egan; brother Patrick Egan, Long Beach, NY; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 11:00 am in St. Patrick's Church, White Haven, with Reverend Michael Kloton officiating. Interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation from 10:00 am until Mass time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, in Kevin's Memory, may be made to St. Patrick Church.
