Judy H McDonald, formerly of Hanover Twp and more recently Allied Services Meade St Residence.
Born in West Pittston at the family residence, she was the daughter of the late Howard S Brown Jr and Helen Morrison Brown.
Judy was a graduate of West Pittston High School and went on to enjoy a distinguished career as an executive legal secretary, serving multiple law firms for more than 30 years. She was respected for her professionalism, dedication, and strong work ethic throughout her career.
Above all, Judy was devoted to her family. She was known among family and friends as a gifted storyteller. Her wonderful sense of humor, infectious laughter, and warm personality brought joy to everyone around her. She cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren and was always willing to lend a helping hand to her siblings and loved ones. An avid reader, Judy could often be found enjoying a good book.
She was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church, White Haven.
Judy is survived by her beloved sons, Sean McDonald and his wife, Victoria Solbert, of Ashville, North Carolina,, and Patrick McDonald of Athens, Georgia; her cherished grandchildren, Mia, Finn and Luca McDonald, Riordan, Larkin, and Ailish Solbert-McDonald; her siblings, Richard Brown of Nazareth, PA, Linda Krause of Upper Marlboro, MD, and Kay Krull of White Haven; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Florence Danilla of Avenel, NJ, Joyce Williams of Harding, PA, and Ruth Reese of West Pittston, PA.
Private family funeral services and interment will be held at a later date.
Judy's love, laughter, and stories will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
