Jeffrey Melan

Jeffrey M. Melan, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on September 19, 2026.

Born in Kingston on April 25, 1988, he was the son of Timothy and Cindy Minnick Melan. Jeffrey was a graduate of Meyers High School and attended Wilkes-Barre Area Vocational Technical School. He went on to work as a custodian for Allied Services for over 14 years.

Jeffrey enjoyed the simple things in life and took great pleasure in his hobbies. He loved building with Legos, collecting Hot Wheels cars, and was an avid Washington Redskins fan. He will be remembered for the joy he found in the things he loved and, most importantly, for the place he held in the hearts of his family.

In addition to his loving mother, Cindy, Jeffrey is survived by his brother, Timothy Melan and his wife, Melissa; sisters, Kerry and Kimberly Melan; special uncles and aunt, Jim, Vince and Susan; and four nieces, all whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy M. Melan.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 noon at Lehman Family Funeral Service, 689 Hazle St., Wilkes-Barre. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township.
