JOSEPH F. BRUNO

Joseph F. Bruno, 94, of White Haven, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023 in Lehigh Valley Medical Center, Hazleton.

Born in Queens, he was the son of the late Frank and Josephine Barrato Bruno and served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Joe worked for the Department of Highways in New York City, prior to retiring to White Haven.  He was an avid Mets baseball fan, enjoyed hunting and spending time with family. He loved listening to music and watching war movies.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Bruno and siblings, George, Frank, Dorothy, Tony, Gloria, Lucille and Prudy.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Tracey Plescia; grandson, Zachary Plescia and his wife, Elizabeth, nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service with Military Honors will be conducted on Saturday October 21, 2023 at 4:00 pm from the Lehman Family Funeral Service 403 Berwick St White Haven

Friends are invited to join the family for a Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until time of service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the VA Hospital or Smith Nursing Home, Mountain Top.
