JOHN F. RAMSEY

John “Jackie” Ramsey, 84, of Hanover Township, died on Sunday, January 31, 2021, in the Hampton House, Hanover Twp.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Edward and Margaret Flynn Ramsey and served his country proudly in the United States “Sea-Bees”. He was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Hanover Township and worked for the Untied States Post Office and Town and Country Furniture, prior to retirement.

John was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his brother, Edward Ramsey and sister, Alicia Burton.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Ramsey, sister, Margaret Mary Mee of California and sister in law, Alice Ramsey of Wilkes-Barre. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Graveside Funeral service with Military honors will be conducted on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at 1:00 pm in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
