John J. Pytell, walked into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late John an Caroline Storzek Pytell and was a graduate of Marymount High School. He served his country proudly in the US Air Force and was the recipient of the Good Conduct Medal. He was employed as a UPS driver, prior to retiring.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his loving wife, Bertha; two sisters, Eleanor Gross and Josephine and brother, Theodore Pytell.
He will be sadly missed by his children, Jack Pytell (Deborah), Louisiana; Debbie Dante (David) Lake Silkworth; BethAnn Morio (Adam), Lehman; her grandchildren, Jack, Theresa and Jacob Pytell; R.J. and Hope Dante; Bryan and Cole Morio; 4 great grandchildren and sister, Caroline Drozda of Drums and brother in law, Leroy Pallone.
Due to the current pandemic, a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ALS or Alzheimer's Foundation.
