Joan L. Mack, of Hanover Township, passed away on June 13, 2024 to reunite with her loved ones in Heaven.
She was a wonderful, kind, pleasant, sweet, patient woman who never had a bad word to say. Always greeting everyone with her beautiful smile. She was a graduate of Coughlin High School and worked for the Social Security Administration for many years, until her retirement. Joan lived a long wonderful life with lots of family and friends. Her favorite things were spending time with her granddaughter Malina, visiting her family and friends, watching Johnny Carson reruns, holidays, and her Irish heritage, which she traveled to Ireland to visit.
She was always on the go. She was the best mother anyone could hope for, with her words of wisdom and kindness. Her smile was everything! She had a deep faith in God and did her rosary every night. She was an example to live by. Family was everything to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Regina Muldowney, in laws, Wallace and Alvina Mack, daughter Ann Mack and brother, Marty Muldowney.
Surviving are her son Joe Mack Jr. and his wife Kim, Shavertown, daughter Linda Mack of Hanover Township, with whom she lived with. Grandchildren, Taylor and Shelby Mack, Bret and Tony Politz, Malina Mack; sister, Carol Perecci and her husband Joe, a niece, several nephews, many cousins and her beloved cats, Happy, India and Sonya. She will be forever loved and missed deeply! There's no doubt that she has her wings now! Enjoy Mom!
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 10:00 am in Exaltation of the Holy Cross Parish, 420 Main Road, Buttonwood, with her nephew, Reverend Thomas Muldowney officiating. Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation from 9:30 am until time of Mass.
