JAMES C. O'NEIL

James C. O'Neil, 83, of Ashley, died on Saturday evening, December 5, 2020, in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Clarence and Hannah Carbohn O'Neil and was employed in the garment industry prior to retirement. Jim enjoyed fishing, listening to country and polka music and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Maude Conklin in 2007 and brothers, Ralph and Thomas.

He is survived by his children, Brenda Santarsiero of Ashley; James Jr., William and Edward O'Neil, all of Ashley; David (Mary Beth) O'Neil of Ringtown; Valarie O'Neil of Wilkes-Barre; ten grandchildren, Tina, Theresa, Christina, Chantelle, Chrystal, Michael, Brianna, Brandi, Abigail Rose and Nikki Irene; great grandchildren, Willow, Timmy, Jr. Mackenzie, Rose Marie, Lili, Tyler, Liam, Maddison; sisters, Hannah Thomas and Margaret O'Neil; nieces and nephews.
