JAMES W. McDONALD

James W. McDonald, 79, of Blakeslee, formerly of Patterson, NJ, died on Friday, August 26, 2022.

Born in Patterson,  NJ, he was the son of the late James and Mary Aiken McDonald. He served his country proudly in the United States Army and was owner of McDonald cleaning service.  Jim worked for American Van Lines & Vernay & Sons Moving and Storage, prior to retirement, and delivered the Passaic County Voting Machines for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, watching the NY Giants and an occasional trip to the Casino watching horse's race.

In addition to his parents Jim was preceded brothers John & Charlie, sisters Helen, Genevieve, Edna, Elizabeth, Estelle, Isabelle, Beatrice, Mary and Barbara.

He is survived by his children, James G. McDonald, Michael (Alejandra Betancourt) McDonald, Kellie (Robert) Montrose; grandchildren, Madison McDonald, Jason Montrose and Edward Lacardo and many nieces and nephews.

A gathering of Family and Friends will be celebrated on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 4 to 6 pm at the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 403 Berwick St. White Haven.
