HUI CHUL GITTINS

Hui Chul Gittins, 93, of Hanover Township, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025.

Born in South Korea, she was the daughter of the late Chang Ku Yi and Se Ok Chang. She immigrated to the United States on November 1, 1984, and married her soulmate, John Gittins, at St. Nicholas Church. Hui Chul enjoyed gardening and was known for her quiet demeanor and humble nature. She was a kind and caring neighbor.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Gittins, on March 8, 2010; two sisters; and one brother.

She is survived by nieces, nephews, and caring close neighbors, especially Michelle and Jim Clarke.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 10:00 am in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Shavertown.

Arrangements are under the care of the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc., Wilkes-Barre.
