Harold (Skip) John Ladner, of White Haven, passed Wednesday, February 27, 2019, in Lehigh Hospital, Allentown.
Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Harold and Mary Kelmer Ladner and was a graduate of Weatherly High School. Harold served his country proudly during the Vietnam War in the United States Army and was a member of Kidder Fire Department for many years as well as the VFW. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid nascar fan, he also loved participating in the local circuits both as crew and spectator. Harold spent many years as a carpenter, and through his retirement was always willing to share his knowledge with everyone.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Robert Ladner and sister, Jane Spadell.
Harold is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Lorraine Crosley Ladner; four children, Lisa (Gerald) Fulk of White Haven; Dana Spock of Freeland; Brian (Andrea) Ladner of Mountain Top; Brittany Ladner of White Haven; grandchildren, Jeremy, Craig, Cassandra, Kale, Cheleasa, Ashley, Kimberlee, McKenzie; two sisters, Bonnie Williams of Lansdale and Mary (Peach) Ladner of Tannery.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at 1:00 pm from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 403 Berwick St. White Haven with Pastor Michele Kaufman officiating.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 4 to 7 pm and on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until time of service.
