GINA THOMAS

Gina Thomas, 93, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018, in Celtic Hospice in-Patient Unit, Wilkes-Barre, with family by her side.
 
Born in San Severo, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Josephine DePasquale Salci and was a member of the former Holy Rosary Church, Wilkes-Barre. She was a school teacher and enjoyed cooking. 
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death, by her husband, Geno Thomas in 1995 and two sisters.
 
She is survived by her daughter, Maryann Marsh and her husband, John of Wilkes-Barre; Dr. Virgil Thomas and his wife, Bonnie of Wilkes-Barre; five grandchildren, Lesley, Kyle, Evan, Keri and Jena; four great grandchildren, Madysen, Owen, Ethan and Gwen; one brother, Joseph Salci and his wife, Connie; nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, December 31, 2018, at 10:00 am from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre, with interment following in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
 
Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
