GEORGE RINKER

George L. Rinker, Jr., of East Side, died at home on Friday, April 12, 2019.

Born in Scotrun, he was the son of the late George L. and Flora Rinker and was a graduate of Pocono Mountain High School.  George served his country in the United States Navy and worked for Sanofi Pasteur Pharmacutial. He was a member of White Haven VFW and enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his wife, Martha Zitzman, sisters, Ellen Rose and Irene Duncan.

Surviving are daughters, Leanne Rinker and Domenica Solarek and her husband, Stephen; grandson, Benjamin, all of White Haven, nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being finalized under the direction of the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 403 Berwick St. White Haven.

Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the funeral home to cover final expenses.
