Gail L. Williams, 80, of Stillwater, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the Bloomsburg Care and Rehabilitation with her sons by her side. God's hands gently lead Gail home.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Lucille Krokoski Perugino and worked for many years as a nurse's aide at Bonham's Nursing Center, a Pharmacy Technician at Sweet Valley Pharmacy, finishing her working career as Secretary of the Alumni Association at Wilkes University. Gail was a voracious reader, loved animals and enjoyed crafting and crocheting. Her pride in her sons was her favorite topic of conversation.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E. Williams Sr. and her only brother, Vito N. Perugino.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ronald E. Williams, Jr. and his wife, Patricia Witham-Williams of Easton, Mark D. Williams and his wife Paulette of Stillwater, Richard L. Williams and his wife, Michele of Clifton Springs, NY; Eileen Perugino, wife of her brother Vito; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 9:30 am from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Leo the Great Church, 33 Manhattan Street, Ashley. Reverend Vincent Dang will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation from 4 to 6 pm on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 and Wednesday morning from 9:00 am until time of service.
