GAIL E. CASSANO

Gail E. Cassano, of Hanover Township, passed away on Friday, November 24 ,2023, in Allied Hospice, Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre with family by her side.

Born in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Lettie Stone Foley and graduated from Stroudsburg High School.  Gail enjoyed cooking for her family, crafts and spending time with her family and pets.

In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband, Richard Cassano; son Richard Cassano; daughter Michelle Cassano; grandsons Dylan Hildebrand, Aidan Cassano and sister, Diane VanBuskirk.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Chad Stone and Connie Carey of Pittston, Regina Cassano of Nanticoke, Jeanine and Francis Moreck of Hop bottom, Michael and Megan Cassano of Wilkes-Barre, Matthew Cassano and Ashlee Klugh of Nanticoke, Joseph Cassano of Hanover Township; several grandchildren; siblings, Willard Stone, Linda Baird, Robert Stone, Dale Stone and dogs, Sammy and Buddy.

Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 6:00 pm from the Lehman Family Funeral Service Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre, with Deacon Florian Gyza officiating.

Friends are invited to join the family for a viewing from 4 to 6 pm on Thursday.
