Eugene Lacaille Obituary

Eugene "Man" Llywellyn LaCaille

With love, gratitude, and cherished memories, we celebrate the life of Eugene "Man" Llywellyn LaCaille, who departed this life on June 8, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness.

Born on February 7, 1976, at Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, New York, Eugene was a loving father, proud grandfather, cherished son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and willingness to help anyone in need.

A skilled mechanic by trade, Eugene took pride in his work and enjoyed fixing things for family and friends. He loved listening to music, watching basketball, spending time with loved ones, and creating lasting memories with those closest to him. One of his favorite pastimes was going to the movies with his son, Chase. He was also known for his collection of Yankee fitted hats and New Balance sneakers.

Eugene's warm smile, sense of humor, and caring nature made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had a special way of making people feel welcomed, loved, and appreciated. Whether through a helping hand, a word of encouragement, or simply his presence, Eugene touched the lives of many and will be remembered for the love he shared so freely.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Brenda Johnson and Gene Llywellyn LaCaille.

Eugene leaves to cherish his memory his beloved companion, Jerhan Mickey; his stepfather, Jake Sutter; his loving children, Shyliah LaCaille and Chase LaCaille; his stepdaughter, Jaleesa Henry; his grandson, Jakari Hinds; his twin sister, Regina LaCaille Campbell; his sister, Adasha LaCaille; his stepsister, Pier Webb; brothers, Ronnie LaCaille and Sheldon LaCaille; nephew, Tyquan LaCaille; nieces, Chanel Ruff, Jahuni, Jahliah, Jahkara, Jahzya and Courtney; aunt, Rita Johnson; and a host of LaCaille and Johnson cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Though his earthly journey has ended, Eugene's love, laughter, and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His memory will remain a source of comfort, strength, and inspiration for generations to come.

"Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure."
