EMMA J. MORGAN

Emma J. Morgan, 76, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024 at home with family by her side.

Born in Altoona, PA, she was the daughter of the late James and Ann Chopp Gibbons, worked as a Manager at Hess's department store, Wilkes-Barre and was a member of St. Andrews Parish, Wilkes-Barre. Emma loved going to the beach, doing arts and crafts, word puzzles, was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with family.  

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her great granddaughter Reilly Morgan and her siblings James, Ronald, Joseph and John Gibbons.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband John Morgan; children, William (Holly) Morgan of Curwensville, Dawnell (Michael Jones) Morgan of Duryea, John (Deana) Morgan Jr of Ashley, Michael (Hilary) Morgan of Wilkes-Barre township; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; siblings Patirica Quinn of Swoyersville, Kennith Gibbons of Bellwood, Paul Gibbons of Altoona, Sue Wright of Cassville, Robert Gibbon of Ashville; several nieces and nephews.

Blessing service will be conducted on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 11:00 am from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre with entombment in St. Marys Cemetery Mausoleum

Friends are invited to join the family from 4 to 6 pm on Wednesday and Thursday morning, from 10:15 until service time.
