EMILY DREVENAK

Emily Drevenak, of Ashley, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Friday evening, January 15, 2021, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Rinish Balko; was a former member of St. Andrew’s Parish Wilkes-Barre and enjoyed baking and an occasional trip to the Casino.

In addition to her parents, Emily was predeceased by her loving husband, John J. Drevenak; daughter and son in law, Pat and Joe McGlynn and grandsons, Paul Allabaugh and Christoper Byra.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Charles) Byra of Wilkes-Barre; Diane (Bill) Kramer of Scranton; Debbie Drevenak of Ashley; Donna Sipple of Wilkes-Barre; grandchildren, Keith, Charles and Carl Byra; Joseph and Brian McGlynn; Jason and Justin Allabaugh and Kayla Sipple.  She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Private Family Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre. Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
