ELLSWORTH J. HAAS

Ellsworth J. Haas, of Ashley died late Sunday, May 22, 2022.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Peter and Ruth Macaravage Haas and was a graduate of Coughlin High School. Prior to retirement, he worked for A. Pickett Construction and was a member of Oak Grove Club. He was a jack of all trades and could fix just about anything. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan and enjoyed spending time with family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Kathleen Langan Haas.

Ellsworth is survived by his daughters, Dawn Marie Haas, with whom he resided, Ruthanne (Walter) Rasmovicz; two grandchildren, four great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 10:30 am from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre. Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Hanover Township, next to his wife.

Friends are invited to join the family Friday morning from 9:30 am until time of service.
