ELAINE MYERS

Elaine H Myers, 84, of White Haven, passed into her eternal rest on Tuesday, December 29th, 2020. She was born on February 12th, 1936, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Elaine was the youngest daughter of the late Michael and Bella Dembiec Hendricks. She was a graduate of Wilkes-Barre Township High School, worked as secretary/treasurer for the White Haven Borough for 23 years, and later became the White Haven tax collector. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Myers, and siblings, Theresa Fennick, Louise (Pat) Bilahorka, Helen (Tootsie) Hoffman, Leonard, and Edward Hendricks. 

She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Susan) Myers of Dennison Township, and William Myers of White Haven; sister, Henrietta Thier, and two granddaughters, Rachel and Alyssa Myers. Elaine enjoyed spending time with family, especially her granddaughters, the loves of her life.  

A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 4th, 2021, in St. Patrick's Church. Interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, White Haven.
