DUANE KRESGE

Duane D. Kresge, of Buck Township, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021, at home.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Russell and Harriet Muir Kresge and was a graduate of Coughlin High School, Class of 1974. He was employed by Frontier Communication as a telecommunications Technician and was a member of Beaumont Free Methodist Church. Duane enjoyed traveling and photography. Duane served his country proudly in the United States Air Force, during the Gulf War and was the recipient of the AF Commendation Medal; AF Achievement Medal; AF Outstanding Unit Award; AF Good Conduct Medal; National Defense Service Medal; AF Overseas Short Tour Ribbon; AF Overseas Long Tour Ribbon; AF Longevity Service Award; NCO PME Graduate Ribbon and the AF Training Ribbon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Russell Kresge Jr.; Richard Kresge; sisters, Wendy Evans and Sharon Smith.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Kresge; daughters, Jessica and Katie Kresge of Bethlehem; stepson, Jason Gould and wife Rebecca of Buck Twp., nieces, nephews, brother and sister in law, mother in law, his best friends Donna and Ernie Jones, many more close friends and his pet Ruppert.

Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Beaumont Free Methodist Church in Buck Twp at 6:00 pm with military honors at 6:30 pm
