DAMIEN YANORA

Damien Michael Yanora, 33, of Wilkes-Barre, died suddenly at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital on Tuesday, October 20, 2021 from a battle with Leukemia.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of Brian Dennis and the late Patricia A. Yanora.

Damien graduated from Meyers High School in Wilkes-Barre, where he enjoyed playing football.  Damien was born deaf but learned to read lips; sign language and speak. He was a member of St. Andrew's Parish, (St. Patrick's Church) where he was an altar server; loved the outdoors and drawing pictures.

In addition to his mother, Patricia A. Yanora, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Louis Yanora.

He is survived by his grandmother, Patricia Yanora of Wilkes-Barre and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 6:00 pm from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc., 689 Hazle Street, Wilkes-Barre, with Deacon Bill Beam officiating.

Friends are invited to join the family from 4 to 6 pm Tuesday, at the funeral home.
