DALE E. KLAPAT

Dale E. Klapat, 71, of Wilkes-Barre, died at home on Monday, January 15, 2024.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Frank and Florence Solack Klapat and was a 1971 graduate of GAR High School.  Dale was employed as a union insulator for Local 38 prior to retiring and loved spending time with family and fishing.  He was a social member of the American Legion.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his daughter, Jennifer Klapat in 2001, and brothers Ronald and Frank.

Dale is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Debora Kornacki Klapat, children; Nicole, Brian, and Jeremy, granddaughter; Cassidy Bender, brothers; Richard and Kenneth.

A Blessing service will be conducted on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 4:00 pm from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre with Deacon Florian Gyza officiating. Private family interment will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery, Sweet Valley.

Friends are invited to join the family from 2 to 4 pm at the funeral home Sunday.
