DAISY V. FLORES

Daisy V. Flores, 83, of Wilkes-Barre died on Saturday, December 31, 2022 in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Trenton, NJ, on Feb. 19, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Luella Ruth Cowell and a loving mother, grandmother and beautiful soul.  She was employed in the housekeeping industry for nursing homes in the area.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, grandson, Tommy Wallace; great grandson, Justin Confletti; Amanda Kachmarksy; siblings, Frank Lear, Katherine Valentin.

She is survived by her children, Amelia "Mickey" Weitoish of Mountain Top, Stanley (Cindy) Weitoish of Wapwallopen, Debra Jones of Edwardsville, Michael (Kim) Valentin of Harding, Diane (Thomas) Robinson of Pittston, John (the late Cheri) Cowell of Wilkes-Barre, Tina (Jason) Paley of Forty Fort, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2022 at 2:00 pm from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre with interment in Albert Cemetery, Mountain Top.

Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation from 12:00 noon until time of service at the funeral home.
