Charles A. Myers, Sr.

Charles A. Myers Sr., formerly of Sugar Notch and Ashley, died on Thursday, February 22, 2024 in Riverview Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Charles and Josephine Myers and was a member of St. Leo the Great Church, Ashley. He owned and operated Joy Pest Control, enjoyed spending time with family and loved dogs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Elizabeth Padden Myers; daughter Elizabeth Williams and sister Irene Zaleskas.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, daughters Barbie (Joe) Davison, Rose (Chris) Crisler, Irene (Victor) Belcher, Peggy (Gary) Young, Molly (Ed) Carey, Patti (Harry) Haydt, sons Patrick (Erica ) Myers, Charles (Donna) Myers; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 10:00 am in St. Leo the Great Church, 33 Manhattan St. Ashley.

Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation from 4 to 6 pm on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre.
