Cassandra “Cassie” R. Gallinot, 35, of Hanover Township, passed away on March 11, 2026 at home surrounded by her husband and mother.
Born on June 25, 1990, in Pittsburgh, Cassie brought light and energy wherever she went. A graduate of Western Wayne High School, she went on to earn her Master’s Degree from Marywood University. Cassie also studied abroad at SACI in Florence, Italy, where she had the opportunity to travel to many different countries while there. Dedicated to helping others, Cassie built a fulfilling career as a licensed professional counselor and founder of her own counseling practice, Inspire Peace Counseling. She was known for her compassion, insight, and ability to listen with both her heart and her mind—qualities that touched countless lives.
Cassie had a feisty, vibrant spirit and an endless curiosity about the world. She was a true people person who found joy in connection, laughter, and new experiences. She loved spending time with her friends, family and fur-babies. She liked trips to the beach, especially an annual Miami trip with her husband. She enjoyed caring for her many plants, and she had a special affection for animals of all kinds. Cassie was also an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and enjoyed the company of her friends.
Cassie is survived by her loving husband, John Allen; her devoted mother, Catherine Gallinot; and grandmother, Joan Gallinot and her beloved pets; Goldendoodles Molly and Mia, and cats Oliver and Gigi.
Cassie’s warmth, humor, and generosity left a lasting mark on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her unstoppable energy, kind spirit, and the love she shared so freely.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be sent to SPCA in her honor. A celebration of life will be at a later date at the discretion of the family.
