Carl W. Henry

Carl W. Henry, 58, of Kingston, passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, August 6, 2026, at Chestnut Hill Nursing Home, Wilkes-Barre after a long illness.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, Carl was the son of the late Ralph and Rosemary Henry and a graduate of Bishop Hoban High School, Class of 1986.

Carl was a hardworking man who spent many years working as a forklift operator for Bowden. He was also a lifelong sports enthusiast who found some of his greatest enjoyment in the simple things in life, especially spending time with friends on the golf course. An avid bowler for most of his life, Carl enjoyed the friendships, laughter, and memories that came with the sport.

Carl is survived by his brother, Mark Henry of Hanover Township; his former wife and dear friend, Carol Henry of Kingston; nieces and nephews; and many cherished friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Parish in St. Aloysius Church, corner of Barney and Division Streets, Wilkes-Barre, with Reverend Richard Cirba officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township.

Friends are invited to join the family for visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church.
