CECILIA A. TAYLOR

Cecilia A. Taylor, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024 in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Maria Harvey Vendryes and was a member of the Ark of Safety Ministry.  Cecilia enjoyed traveling, puzzles and praying her daily prayers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Tony Vendryes.

Left to cherish her memory is her children, Trudy Ann Taylor of Queens, NY, Sue Taylor of Wilkes-Barre, with whom she resided, Lancelot Taylor of Queens, NY; two grandchildren, Theresa and Christopher Taylor of Wilkes-Barre; siblings, Christoper Vendryes, Diana Tie, Karlene Henry, Ivahoe Vendryes, Robert Vendryes, Andre Vendryes; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 12:00 noon from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre.
