CAMERON J. MURPHY

Cameron J. Murphy, 21, of Nanticoke, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, died on Friday, February 5, 2021.

Born in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township, he was the son of Kelly Quinn of CT and Amanda Murphy of Warrior Run.  Cameron attended Nanticoke Area and Wilkes-Barre Area schools and was employed in local restaurants and in retail sales in local department stores.  He loved listening to music, singing, drawing and had enjoyed writing comic books.

He is survived by his father, Kelly; mother, Amanda; dad, Jake Zdanowicz; siblings, Daniel Murphy, Layla Zdanowicz, Jocelyn Zdanowicz, all of Warrior Run; cousin, Kaya Zdanowicz, who was more of a sister and lived most of her life with Cameron; maternal grandparents, Penelope Murphy of FL; Edward Murphy of Allentown; paternal grandparents, Jean Quinn and James Quinn; paternal great grandmother, June York and many many loving and close, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial service will be conducted on Friday, February 12, 2021, at 6:00 pm from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle ave. Wilkes-Barre.

Friends are invited to join the family for a memorial visitation from 4 to 6 pm at the funeral home.
